Repent For the Day of the LORD is Near!!!

Lately I have been drawn to the continuously erupting volcanic fissures in the Reykjanes Peninsula of Iceland. This volcanic activity began on March 19, 2021 with only one volcanic fissure. It progressed into the opening of two, three and many more fissures until there are now more than eight fissures and the lava flow has become a river of lava with bouts of lava tornadoes and a lava fountain that spews lava up to 300-400 ft high.

The Scripture I would like to share today is Psalm 19:

1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

These are the signs of the times. One of more intense of the birth pangs. The Day of the Lord is near. If you are a child of God, and you are saved by the Lord Jesus Christ through His death on the Cross and has been given eternal life through His Resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit, you have nothing to worry about. If you and your children and grandchildren are saved, you are blessed to not worry about any of these things because salvation and eternal life are already yours. But for those of us who still have families and loved ones that are yet to belong to Jesus need to continue in trusting God and seek Him to continue working in the lives of our lost loved ones.

Sooner rather than later the Tribulation will be at Hand. Whether one believes in the Rapture or not, we who believe in Word of God know that Hell is a very real place, and though we through the Blood of the Lamb will not end up there, those who reject Jesus Christ will and we are told to witness to unbelievers about the truth of the afterlife. One day, whether we are all Raptured or die as martyrs in the Tribulation, we may not be here to proclaim the truth. So I leave this warning here in case this would still be available at that time for those are yet unsaved but may come to salvation at the end times and during the Tribulation. If the Lord have me write this warning here, there must be a reason for it to be so. For the Bible says in Romans 8:28 says, “ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

As I watch the rivers of lava flowing out of these fissures of the volcano, I was reminded of Hell. The biblical hell does not seem to describe include a river. But many ancient mythologies have described Hell as having a river. The Greeks called this river Styx. These rivers of lava of Iceland kept reminding me of the depictions of Hell in the Bible and other references of Hell. Of course, only the Biblical depiction of Hell has the highest and only authority. The other cultural references do shape our understanding of the Lake of Fire. For example, the English word Hell is derived from the Norse tradition ‘Hel’ and Hades is the word used in Greek mythology. Does this mean the translators used those words to intermingle the mythologies in with the Bible? No, of course not. In the same way, my references to the river Styx is about the idea of Hell may or may not have a river or multiple rivers or fountains or tornadoes of fire. It definitely has a Lake of fire according to the Revelation of John the Apostle.

Hell and the eternal Second Death are not frequently mentioned in churches, but Jesus mentioned and referred to it many times in the Bible – sufficient enough for those who were seeking Him to understand the reality of Hell, but not to be driven by fear. He did spoke more about Heaven and about life with God so we would be driven to get to know Him and love Him as described in the excerpt of this article.

Here is the discernment I am getting from the Holy Spirit / Ruach HaKodesh:

The Heavens and the Earth and all that are in it declare the glory of God. They sing and proclaim His glory and His majestic workmanship in voices that are unheard. However the One who is their Creator hears and knows what they have to say. And for these volcanic fissures, they proclaim:

“Glory, glory, glory to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the ONE WHO WAS, WHO IS, AND WHO IS TO COME, the ANCIENT OF DAYS and the ALPHA and OMEGA.

Repent for the Return of the Lord is near and the END is nigh. This is a sign that the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY has given you to warn you of His Son’s Imminent Return as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Beware of the Second Death (Revelation 21:8). If you have seen this lake of lava, the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10-15) would be thousands of magnitudes greater than this one. If you have seen these rivers of lava, the fires of Hell would be multitudes of magnitudes worse than this. These lava tornadoes and fountains are just the tip of the iceberg! Do not think for a second it is going to be bearable. The consuming fires of Hell would leave you weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:42, Luke 13:28)! The black soil around the lava do not compare to the darkness of Hell! Do not leave this life into this eternal torment! Repent and seek the One who loves you and will give you eternal life! Repent and ask the Son of God and Lamb of God to save you so you maybe spared from this eternal fate!
